Brittany and Nick were married at the historic Packard Proving Grounds located in Shelby Township. Established in 1928 by The Packard Motor Car Company, this unique wedding venue hosts multiple Albert Kahn-designed buildings on 17 acres. This unique venue allows you to hold your wedding ceremony outside on the tree-lined boulevard or inside the Lodge Garage. Brittany and Nick arrived to their ceremony in one of the historic Packard cars adding to the unique experience. Nick's cousin, Doug Hicks, officiated the ceremony and had the guests in gales of laughter. In a serious moment, he quoted a grandparent's advice for the couple, "Marriage evolves like the changing seasons. Cherish and enjoy the unique experiences each season brings." Wise words indeed! The couple enjoys country music and we obliged them by playing You Are the Reason by Calum Scott for the bridal party, Amazed by Lonestar for Brittany's processional. Congratulations and best wishes!
