I want you to know that they are so cute!

Updated: Apr 10

Congratulations to Ethel and Ari who were married at The Garden Theater in Detroit. Before they processed, the Rabbi said, "I want you to know that they are so cute," and he was not wrong. With the love they exuded and the obvious support from their family and friends, this couple is set up to have an amazing life together. The Rabbi added a special touch to their Jewish ceremony by reading letters the couple had written for each other. The letters showed the great connection and affection Ethel and Ari both have for each other. The wedding went off as planned with Lynn Lucas from W.E.D. and the Garden Theater staff seeing to every detail.

Ethel and Ari chose a historical and beautiful venue for their wedding. The Garden Theater, opening in 1912, was one of Detroit's earliest neighborhood theaters which hosted live stage shows and motion pictures. Designed by C. Howard Crane, the Theater is in good company with other buildings designed by Crane such as the The Fox, Orchestra Hall, the Detroit Opera House, and The Fillmore Detroit. The venue is now a spectacular place to host a wedding or event.

The Rondo String Quartet had fun playing requests such as 'Sunrise, Sunset,' 'Bridgerton Theme,' 'Be My Baby,' and 'God Only Knows' as prelude music. The family processed to 'The Rainbow Connection' from the Muppets, which we heard from many guests was a hit. The bride entered with 'Waltz from the Princess Diaries.' The recessional was the traditional 'Simon Tov' and 'Mozel Tov.' For cocktails, the quartet played some popular requests such as 'Accidentally in Love,' 'All the Small Things,' and 'Come on Eileen.'

We wish this sweet couple all the best!
