Words of love spoken by Frank to Chelsea as they exchanged vows during their ceremony at the Guardian Building. If you've not visit the Guardian building in Detroit, it's definitely work a visit. It is one of the most significant and striking Art Deco skyscrapers in the world. Visitors are awestruck by the explosion of color, craftsmanship and blending of Native American, Aztec, and Arts & Crafts influences. In the 1920s, the city of Detroit was a worldwide industrial and commercial hub, and the city grew with unprecedented prosperity. It was in this era that a newly organized banking group – the Union Trust Company – was anxious to communicate their public image through their flagship headquarters and new offices.
That Chelsea and Frank chose this space for their wedding and reception was no surprise. Lovers of dance, food and Michigan, they brought in prestigious caterer Forte Belanger to cater their reception along with bartenders Slingin' Sisters. Their wedding cake was the work of Kaitlin Gallemore of MI Great Lake Cakes, and was a work of art that tied in the theme of the Guardian Building
beautifully. Cayna from Ensemble Floral created beautiful arrangements that complimented the place settings. Photographer Shanea Snyder and Timothy of Timothy Scott Films were there to create long lasting memories.
Friend Spencer Buttery did an awesome job with acting as officiant. She handled it so well that we suspect she has done this before!
Coordinators Jamie Gorman and Christian Salmon of Clink & Co. did an amazing job putting this event together. Organized, efficient and responsive, the event ran so smoothly. Paige Guardiola, venue coordinator for Guardian weddings ensured that all vendors had what they needed to make the evening a success.
Congratulations to Chelsea and Frank on their wedding and fantastic event. The day will be remembered by their guests for many years to come.
