The Mar Thoma Service of Marriage is a blend of Biblical teachings and South India Customs

Updated: Nov 12, 2020

Congratulations to Kevin and Naomi who were married at St. Johns Mar Thoma Church in Troy this past weekend. The Vicar, Rev. Christopher Daniel officiated the ceremony which was comprised of two parts: The Engagement (Blessing of the Rings) and Holy Matrimony (Blessing of Crowns). The church choir played an important role through the ceremony and performed beautifully. Samantha McNally of Wholehearted Events did an awesome job organizing the day which concluded with a lovely luncheon at Petruzzello's. Home Bakery of Rochester created a gorgeous cake! Photographer Heidi Zeigler was there to capture all the great memories. We had the pleasure of playing for both the ceremony and the luncheon. The couple chose fun music like Viva la Vida by Coldplay for the luncheon that the guests really enjoyed. Many thanks to the brides sister, Joanne Isaac, for her invaluable help with the details. Congratulations to this beautiful couple.
