Take My Hand, Take My Whole Life Too

Updated: Aug 6

Shepherd's Hollow in Clarkston Michigan is an amazing and magical place for a wedding. It offers a truly unique setting; a glass house nestled in the middle of a pine forest. The venue is highlighted by elegant décor and a panoramic view of the lake and golf course. Alexandra Premo, venue coordinator, always does a remarkable job uniting the many parts of a wedding day into a cohesive and smoothly run event. Congrats to her and her staff!

Dakota and Dom were married in the gorgeous fountain area by officiant, Jorg Schueler, a family friend. The wraparound veranda provided wonderful outdoor space for Jean Smith, photographer, to create stunning images of the day. Two Penny Production was also present to film the days events.

The couple clearly enjoys music and selected every piece of music we, Rondo String Quartet, played throughout the ceremony and cocktails. They knew their audience as many guests came up and their pleasure at hearing songs by Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson, Beatles, Stevie Wonder, AC/DC and more.

The reception was held in the glass house with music by DJ Love Plus One. Florists Ines and Marie had constructed beautiful floral arrangements that enhanced the setting. Though we were not able to enjoy the hors d'oeuvre appetizers, the aroma of the exceptional food was mouth watering. Congratulations Dakota and Dom on the start of a lifetime of love!
