Flexibility and resourcefulness are two key concepts that all of us are utilizing to survive this year. For couples planning a wedding, those two traits become critical to the success in the planning and execution of a wedding day! Ian and Katie were faced with cancellation of a hotel wedding, the fast and furious search for a venue to hold their wedding, the navigation of Covid laws for the safety of the guests and so much more. It is to their credit that they were able to maintain their focus on the true meaning of the day.

Their search led them to The Tap and Barrel Grill in Shelby Township which has an outdoor tent. The manager and staff were able to deliver an outstanding dinner reception for this couple. We were delighted to work with our good friend Rev. Brian Tuttle who officiated the wedding. He had a beautiful way of uniting not only Katie and Ian, but also their children in the ceremony. The ceremony marked the creation of a family and we were honored to be a part of this beautiful day.

Following the ceremony, we enjoyed playing music selected by the couple for their dinner.

Congratulations to Katie and Ian on their wedding. We wish them and their children the very best!
