Getting married is a stressful event at the best of times. But this past year, planning a wedding has forced couples to be flexible in ways they never imagined. Bonita and Mark persevered and finally celebrated their wedding day at The Inn at St. Johns. The ceremony was held in the beautiful chapel and officiated by Rev. Brian Chabala.
It was a day of family and tradition even in terms of their choice of music. Among the classical melodies, we joined staff pianist Ken Krach for the communion and the majestic La Rejouissance on organ for the recessional. Christine Sullivan, venue wedding coordinator for The Inn at St. John's kept the day running smoothly which included cocktails in the Grotto followed by a reception in the Atrium with Rusch Entertainment. There were beautiful floral displays and bouquets by Brandi of Lee Floral Designs along with the excellent photography of Ashley Auger of Smitten Mitten Photography. A wedding cake by Sweet Heather Anne of Ann Arbor is always a delight to see and eat. We enjoyed playing the cocktail hour and interacting with some of the guests. No doubt, all the guests enjoyed a wonderful evening. Best wishes to this lovely couple!
