Barn weddings have been a huge hit for years. But Creekside Acres Barn in Goodrich combines the rustic charm of a barn wedding with all the elements of an elegant venue. The outdoor ceremony site is shaded by a huge old tree and landscaped tastefully. The inside, while shaped like a barn, has all the beauty you would expect from an expensive venue. No doubt, Olivia from Sweet Rustic Charm had a hand in creating such a pretty setting. We liked that illuminated sign behind the head table!
Katherine and Zach were married on a gorgeous September day. They chose romantic songs included A Thousand Years and A Million Dreams. Katherine had many family members present from Great Britain and it was clear that bonds of deep friendship had already developed between the families. They chose a reading that was new to us, Chaos of the Stars by Kiersten White. It's worth a read and we hope more couples use it in their ceremony. Gary's Catering had their barbecue going when we left and as always, it smelled outstanding. The guests were in for a treat. Brittany Carress Photography was on hand as was Lauren Elizabeth Films and and old friend, Michaels Entertainment for the DJ services. We extend our best wishes to Katherine and Zach!
