"I Choose You" - Vows Exchanged at the Garden Theatre in Detroit
Updated: Feb 3
Christina and Samuel exchanged vows at the Garden Theater in Detroit. Officiant James Buhro directed the ceremony in front of beautiful floral displays by Lee Floral Design. Christina chose to surprise her mother-in-law to be by walking down the aisle to the same song as she had for her wedding - Purcell's Trumpet Voluntaire. It was such a lovely gesture!
The historic Garden Theater was designed in 1912 by famed architect C. Howard Crane (Fox Theatre). After decades in ruin, the theater underwent a multimillion-dollar restoration and reopened October 2013. Today, the Garden is Midtown Detroit’s one of a kind event space ideal for events of any size and includes a stage with a bar and eatery. Nashelle Hill of the Garden was efficient and kept the day running smoothly through cocktails and the seated dinner. Best wishes Christina and Samuel!
