It was more than a wedding. It was the creation of a new family. And standing in as officiant was Dave Work, the groom's father and Anakin's grandfather. Keeping with the couple's wishes, Dave kept the ceremony light-hearted and sprinkled with humor. Caitie and Steve were married in Greenfield Village's Mary Martha Chapel. Their son, Anakin was in the grooms party and played a special role in their day. This fun loving couple chose great songs for their day. Hits from "The Greatest Showman" along with Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton, All You Need is Love by the Beatles and You're My Best Friend by Queen demonstrated their love for the classics.
The fun continues with a cocktail hour held at the Carousel. Caitie and Steve weren't shy and got right on for a ride with their guests while we played movie themes, Beatles and lots of classic rock. A dinner reception followed in the Eagle Tavern. Congratulations to Caitie, Steve and their sweet family.
