Four Alarm Fire Brings Couple Together

Updated: Nov 25, 2018

Bible verse on a sign at Carole and Sean's wedding at Sycamore Hills Golf Club, Macomb, Michigan. Sage Green Events coordinated. Picture by Rondo String Quartet.

Carole and Sean had a gorgeous Michigan spring day for their wedding at Sycamore Hills earlier this month. Pastor Pat Thompson of Sturges Memorial Congregational Church in Port Huron officiated the ceremony and shared that the Sean, a firefighter and Carole, a Salvation Army Canteen Team Member met at a four alarm fire. A silver lining moment for sure!

The couples faith was evident throughout the ceremony. Scripture verses greeted the guests as they entered the garden and were spoken in the ceremony itself. The couple kept the music traditional during the ceremony but had fun during the seating of the guests with "Make You Feel My Love" by Adele and "500 Miles" by the Proclaimers. Our Eine Kleine by Mozart generated several kind comments. We always appreciate when guests take a moment to tell us they enjoyed the music!

Dean Rusch of Rusch Entertainment was on hand to continue the music throughout the evening and no doubt had the party celebrating! Erin Schoneman of Sage Green Events provided the flowers and along with Julie O'Neil of Sycamore Hills, kept the day running smoothly. Warner Photography was on hand to capture the moments and we could tell she was getting many wonderful shots. Best wishes to this lovely couple!
