Emily and Peter Celebrate Nuptials at Historic Downtown Church

Saints Peter and Paul Jesuit Church, whose cornerstone is dated 1844, is the oldest church building in continuous use in the City of Detroit. It was here, under the painted ceiling of the apostles, that Emily and Peter exchanged vows. We performed music by Bach including our cellists' performance of the the Prelude from Bach's 1st Cello Suite for the wedding party which included four bridesmaids, one of whom escorted her three darling children. Music director and organist, Julie performed the Emily's father's song for their processional down the aisle. Best wishes to this beautiful couple!
