Colony Club's Classic Elegance Makes This Bride's Dream Come True

Updated: Dec 30, 2018

Congratulations to Rachel and Joe on their wedding at the elegant Colony Club in Detroit! Known for its gold leaf ceilings, impressive crystal chandeliers and Louis XVI decor, the Colony Club is centrally located on Park Avenue and one of the most popular wedding venues in the city. The officiant was Rachel's brother, Ryan, who was able speak knowingly of the couple and of his sister's obsession with weddings since she was a little girl.

The bridal party processed to There Is Love, also known as the Wedding Song, made popular by Peter, Paul and Mary. Rachel chose the traditional and classic Pachelbel Canon for her processional with her father. The celebration began with their chosen recessional, Don't Stop Believin' by Journey and continued through the cocktail hour which we had the privilege of playing downstairs. It was a perfect day and a dream come true for Rachel and Joe. We wish them the very best as they begin the adventure of life as husband and wife.
