The Monarch Ballroom opened in mid-2025 as part of the resort’s major renovation, bringing a 17,000-square-foot luxury event space to one of Michigan’s most beloved resort properties. It can accommodate up to 1,500 guests, yet the design still allows a celebration to feel composed and personal. One of its most striking features is a 200-foot retractable glass wall that opens to a 7,000-square-foot open-air landscaped courtyard with water features.

We were honored to be part of a beautiful celebration there, working with Emily of Utsav Planners. Our portion of the evening began in the landscaped courtyard. The setting had the kind of detail that musicians notice right away.The open air, thoughtful decor, and refined guest flow created a memorable start to the evening. Our Bollywood selections were warmly received, and the reception continued inside the elegant Monarch Ballroom.
