The Basilica of St. Mary's will make you pause in awe. The vibrancy of the colors and stunning work of iconographer Diamantis Cassis is breathtaking. The project is ongoing and Father George Shalhoub shared that the artist will be returning later this year to complete the next section.
Haifa's dress sparkled under the lights as she processed to Annie's Song by John Denver. Her bridal party, which included two darling flower girls, walked down to Tale As Old As Time from Beauty and the Beast.
The church is an artistic gem and worth a visit. The Byzantine iconography is unique in so many ways including the use of English and Arabic writing which is of significance to the community that the Basilica services. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to perform is such a beautiful space and thank Matthew and Haifa for the pleasure of being a part of their wedding day.
