For Megan and Steven, the second wedding ceremony was no less the sweeter! The couple chose to tie the knot on a beach in Florida during the COVID shutdown with an intimate gathering. The ceremony they held in the walled English garden at Meadow Brook Hall was equally as beautiful with many friends celebrating with the couple in front of a garden in full bloom. Megan’s father, Thomas Houck, officiated the ceremony which naturally added a poignant quality. We’ve noticed that the song “Moon River” is seeing a resurgence recently. We’ve had several couples as for it and this couple used it for the seating of Megan’s mother and dear friends. Pachelbel’s Canon in D continues to be a favorite as does the Beatle’s “Here Comes the Sun.” The sun was definitely shining for this couple on this late summer afternoon.
